About the role:

An opportunity has arisen for a proven Group Life Insurance specialist to join a senior team providing technical expertise internally and externally

Key Duties:
  • Managing escalated case matters across TPD, Income Protection and Death Insurance
  • Providing training and development for Insurance staff on an ongoing and consistent basis
  • Developing relationships internally with key stakeholders and externally with Insurers to ensure productive outcomes
  • Acting as a centre of excellence for Life Insurance technical matters
  • Writing non-standard correspondence

Skills & Experience:
  • Proven track record of handling complex claims in a Group Life Insurance setting
  • Excellent knowledge on TPD, Income Protection and Death Insurance technical issues
  • Ability to mentor, coach and lead
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong ability to embrace and offer innovation
