Arthur J Gallagher has appointed Sarah Lyons as new CEO, effective immediately. The move comes as an internal promotion, Lyons having previously been Managing Director – Commercial Broking.
Clint Jeuring has joined EBM Insurance as Executive Account Director of the Perth Corporate Broking team. Jeuring previously worked at JLT.
Dennis Morrissey, General Manager Commercial, and Chris Lynch, National Manager Key Partners, have departed Allianz in order to launch a new Underwriting Agency.
Barry Nilsson has promoted 10 lawyers within its Insurance and Health division including Sue Myers, Nick Robson and Gillian Sheppard as Special Counsel; Nathan Buck, Elizabeth O’Connor and Ngaire Wegner as Senior Associate; and Ashlee Bonanno, Daniella Christodoulou, Kingsley Grimshaw and Vanessa Werynski as Associates.
Scott Ryrie has been named CEO of the Risk Management Institution of Australia.
XL Catlin has appointed Sonja Ochsenkuehn as Head of Global Programs with worldwide responsibility, based in London.

Glenn Baird has been appointed Head of Mental Health at TAL, having previously been a psychologist.
Hamish McDonald-Nye has joined Pro-Risk as Executive Director. McDonald-Nye previously worked at DUAL.
James Smorthwaite has been named President of Young Insurance Professionals Australia and New Zealand. Smorthwaite currently works at JLT.
Cheryl McCormack has been made Non-Executive Director at Sportscover. McCormack joins following a professional sports career.
Rebecca Harrison has been appointed Head of Client and Broker Engagement at AIG for Asia-Pacific.
Aon has appointed Neil Robertson as Sales Director for its Health & Benefits team. Robertson joins from JLT.
SuiteBox, the digital services provider, has appointed Matt Cave as Chief Revenue Officer aimed at continuing its global expansion. Cave moves to Sydney from the Phillipines.
AMP Capital has appointed Stasha Prnjatovic as Investment Director based in Sydney. Prnjatovic previously worked as NSW Treasury Commercial Director. In addition, Niamh McBreen has joined as Investment Director in London.
Pauline Vamos has been appointed CEO of an Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) research firm. Vamos previously served as CEO of ASFA.
